Bror Hjorths Hus is a studio museum in Uppsala, housed in the artist Bror Hjorth’s former home and studio. In addition to Bror Hjorth’s art we present exhibitions with other artists in our gallery wing. The museum also has a gift shop and a small caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Bror Hjorth (1894-1968) is regarded as one of the great modernists in Swedish art. He was both a sculptor and a painter and became a professor in drawing. His art is a tribute to love, music and life.<\/p>\n
